Back in April, I read Mira Grant's Feed, a novel about investigative blogger journalists living in a post-zombie apocalypse world, and I really enjoyed it. The story drew me in much more than I was expecting. I went in with pretty much no bias toward zombies in general but a recommendation from someone whose taste I trust, and ended with a burning desire to force it upon anyone who would listen. Then I found out the next book was coming out at the end of May, and sort of forgot about it in the daze of end-of-the-term papers and finals.

A few weeks ago I finally picked up Deadline, and immediately was sucked back in. Throw in some things that er, hit a few of my favorite tropes in fiction, to say the least (which I won't go into here for fear of spoilers), and I'm now even more in love with this world and these characters than I was when I first read Feed.

So, here, have some fanart. Unless you haven't read the books and care about spoiler-y things, in which case...don't. (It's spoiler-y for Deadline.)
